Jan Helbing

Jan Helbing, born 1968, successfully completed an apprenticeship as tax assistant after he graduated from high school. Subsequently he studied law at the University of Hamburg with focus in tax laws. As trainee lawyer Mr. Helbing worked inter alia in the legal department at the tax office in Itzehoe / Germany dealing with appeals, and for the tax auditors department . After his first employment Mr. Helbing became partner of Gerken lawyers in 2004. He is specialised in tax laws, banking and capital market laws.

In tax matters Mr. Helbing deals with appeals against tax offices and claims at Fiscal Courts.
